Jessica is an 18 year old country girl from Ohio.
She has opened for such major talent as Charlie Daniels and Joe Diffy.
When she was only 16 she went to Nashville to sign a developmental contract with Warner Brothers Records.
That is where I first had the honor of hearing her perform.
She had gone with her family to Tootsie's Orchid Lounge just next to the Ryman.
I just happen to be sight seeing and a man stepped out of Tootsie's yelling "New Warner Brothers artist performing live!"
So I went in and sat down at the bar.
There wasn't a band. Just one man with a guitar(who had been doing his own set)and this young girl who had been coaxed out of the audience.
Well,my first thought was "ah-oh,gonna hear some cutsie stumble around".
Boy was I wrong. She could belt out Patsy Cline as well as.......well...Patsy CLine!
